A proud Kullilli man from Queensland, Toby is an experienced and accomplished facilitator, public speaker and consultant with over a decade of experience in developing and facilitating youth and adult learning programs throughout Australia including the Leading Strong, Leading Smart Program, the Stronger Smarter Leadership Program, North Queensland Youth Engagement Program, Learn Earn Legend Indigenous Youth Summit, Oxfam Change Course,Youth 2020 Summit, Australian Youth Forum consultations, the National Youth Roundtable.
As a specialist in cultural competency and leadership programs, Toby focuses on strength- based approaches that explore and use First Nations knowledges and processes. He has a well-earned, strong reputation, founded on humility and high expectations relationships, with a proven track record of working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities, not-for-profit organisations and governments across Australia.
Sharon has worked in a broad range of educational contexts, from teaching in urban and regional schools to management positions in the NSW Department of Education. Her career highlights include the development and implementation of a number of innovative professional learning programs in Aboriginal Education in NSW, working with Dr Chris Sarra to establish and grow the Stronger Smarter Institute and transition it to an independent, highly successful, not-for-profit organisation and subsequently
